Vancouver Sun Spills Eclipse Filming Details
Perez blogged this, so I guess it's not a secret anymore! Vancouver Sun spills set-stalking deets:We've broken the code. Vampire lovers on the Twilight trail should be looking for productions signs bearing the letters TSE.
- That's the top secret code name used for the production of Eclipse now shooting in B.C.
New Moon used USM, which stood for Untitled Sports Movie.
This shoot uses the working title TSE, or Twilight Saga: Eclipse to throw vampires some garlic and keep them off the scent. (TSE is also an acronym for Total Solar Eclipse)
Shooting for Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight saga started this week in Vancouver. - The operation is so covert, even top Vancouver casting people aren't getting the locations and call times for actors until hours before.
What we do know from our sources is that crew has a 1:30 call time to show up in Langley today, with actors on call a couple of hours later for an all-night shoot. (They are vampires, after all.)Read more at Vancouver Sun.

Dazed went to L.A. to take Kristen Stewart away from the glare of the paparazzi and exclusively speak to her about dealing with fame and life beyond the Twilight saga.Photographer David Benjamin Sherry and stylist Katie Shillingford also took Kristen on a psychedelic shoot, from which Dazed Digital have extra shots here, not seen in the magazine. On the shoot, Sherry says "I have never seen ‘Twilight but I was researching lots of images of her. I was inspired by the paintings of Patrick Nagel. I was reminded of a young Jodie Foster or Winona Ryder. I tried to portray a new way of seeing this blossoming teenage actress.”

- Dazed Digital: You are in the midst of becoming a huge star. There’s a truckload of paparazzi outside the door right now.
- Kristen Stewart: Yeah, but you can’t think about it too much because if you think about it too much it is this weird and dreamy fantasy land – you think – ‘ what the hell absurd thing are we doing at 3 o’clock in the morning, with 300 people- pretending to be other people, what the fuck are we doing?
- DD: The paparazzi thing is only since Twilight, right?
- Kristen Stewart: Yeah since Twilight. That’s the only reason they’re out there. They find out where I am from the Internet - from Twitter, man! Anyone who wants to know where I am at any given time just has to go on Twitter, it’s so ridiculous!
- DD: I assume playing Joan Jett is a lot different experience from Twilight?
- Kristen Stewart: It’s so much fun. She’s the ultimate badass. She was the first woman to start her own record label. Everybody threw her out after the Runaways and was like, ‘Sorry girl, your shticks over’, she was like ‘No, the message stays the same people still want to hear it.'Who the fuck did that before her? The music industry is brutal. Once there’s one wave, one explosion of a type of music, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and tries to emulate that, so there’s a bunch of shitty versions of other bands. So there’s like shitty versions of everybody!

INTERVIEW WITH JUSTINE WACHSBERGER
- Have you read the Twilight books? Justine Wachsberger: Yeah, all four of them.
- Had you read them before you got the role? Justine Wachsberger: I had seen Twilight, and read briefly the first one. After I got the part, I obviously read New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
- How was that audition process for you? Justine Wachsberger: It was stressful, but it was fun at the same time. I auditioned for Heidi originally. At the beginning I started getting stressed out when I started hearing casting rumors about who had gotten the part. After about three weeks after auditioning, I got a call saying that I got cast as Gianna.
- What was the filming experience like for you? Justine Wachsberger: It was crazy. I mean it was exciting. I got to go to Vancouver and meet all of the cast members. It was great working with Chris; he's an amazing director. The whole crew and cast were really nice and down to earth. It was just really fun.
- How long were you filming for? Justine Wachsberger: For a week, approximately. Does your role follow the character from the book closely? Justine Wachsberger: Yeah, it pretty much does. Gianna is a complex character in a sense that you don't really know what her motivations are for working for the Volturi. You don't really understand her motivations in the book, and I feel like the movie lets that mystery go on.

"The fans should rest assured the we're working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen," the rep said. "As in all creative processes, things take time. We want to make sure we get it right."
Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie! (duh)

Yesterday Kristen was testing her new wig for Eclipse. Nikki and Elizabeth were shopping together.
It seems that they filmed a scene between Jasper and Maria (a flashback scene).Jackson was on a horse.

Fight Scenes — Although Catherine Hardwicke’s “Twilight” won the hearts of millions of women, it won’t be stealing men away from sports and “Star Trek” sequels anytime soon. Now, with male directors in place for the next two films — and increasingly darker, more action-oriented plotlines to come — it’s time to start convincing the dudes that seeing “New Moon” will do more than put you in your lady’s good graces. But what have we glimpsed so far? Shirtless Jacob, shirt-open Edward, shirtless wolf pack. “Fight Club” gave the same number of abs, but also brought along just as many punches to the face — so bring back the honey and chicken, already! - The Vanishing Volturi — As any good Twilighter knows, the Volturi feature prominently not only in “New Moon,” but also in the overall arc of the “Twilight” saga. Quil Be Seeing You — Everybody’s got their own favorite quasi-obscure “Twilight” character, and mine is Jacob’s “wingman” Quil Ateara. We know he’s played by Tyson Houseman in the film, but we haven’t seen so much as a publicity shot yet. Sure, some might laugh — but I’ll be wearing a “Team Quil” shirt when I see the film on opening night. Which reminds me of a second complaint: Why has no one invented “Team Quil” T-shirts yet? - It Ain’t Easy Being Human— They’re the nicest people in the world and the backbone of the “Twilight” film series: Mike Welch, Christian Serratos, Justin Chon, Anna Kendrick, Billy Burke and others. But although these fan favorites are among the most visible at “Twilight” conventions and other events, we haven’t seen so much as a glimpse of them in the “New Moon” trailers. It’s bad enough that these guys don’t get to pretend they have superhuman powers, the ability to live forever or even a clue as to all the craziness going on in Forks. “Twilight” is nothing without the humanity that Stephenie Meyer injected into it — here’s hoping that Weitz remembers that element as he’s working all those long hours and late nights in the “New Moon” editing bay.
