New Moon sets New Midnight Launch Record!

According to HitFix.com, The Twilight Saga: New Moon may have set a new record for it’s midnight launch.

No one expected “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” to disappoint at the box office, but even Summit Entertainment has to be surprised by the massive opening the sequel garnered from midnight shows across the country. Distributors are still submitting their grosses but sources tell HitFix “New Moon” has set a new record and may have made as much as $25 million from its midnight launch.

Shocker? Not to the Twilight fans. $25 million at the midnight launch! That would be amazing. I know I’m seeing New Moon again tonight and Sunday.

New Movie Stills + My Review on the Movie!

So last night, I saw the Twilight-New Moon Double-Feature. And I was very surprised at how Chris Weitz kept the movie true to the book! Overall, I left the movie theatre a very happy person. I'm already campaigning for Chris Weitz to direct Breaking Dawn! He made us laugh, cry, and feel all the emotions of each character-which is amazing! Not to be biased here, since everyone knows I have a major crush on hottie Michael Sheen-well he pulled off the role of Aro remarkably well-very true to the character in the book! Ashley at MOMA's Film Benefit

Ashley attend the MoMA’s Second Annual Film Benefit, Honoring Tim Burton at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City yesterday. Girl looks glowing, she definitly went to the tanning salon!

Knoxville Special New Moon Screening Benefit

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were in Knoxville, TN for a special New Moon screening to benefit a variety of Eastern Tennessee Charities, including East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Second Harvest, Boy Scouts of the Smokies, Imagination Library and the American Heart Association. Kristen and Taylor posed for cameras, greeted some of the fans and signed autographs.

I can’t tell you how much this warms my heart. I think it’s absolutely wonderful Kristen and Taylor were there to support this benefit.
