NM Blind Vice:Ted Casablanca at it again!

Move over, Twyla Babe-Sucker, you've got company on the New Moon set: Her name's Julie Bone-Jumper.

But first, gotta say: It's almost as if Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer made sure the contract stated that her angst-ridden teeny vampire love story be cast only with equally pale, angst-ridden love-torn young actors.

Such is the case with Twyla Babe-Sucker, star of our last Twilight Vice installment. And it's certainly the case, as well, for Ms. JBJ.

And Julie, like Twyla, has another love...

Though, we must admit, Julie's man isn't nearly as jealous as Twyla's cranky, twitching freakazoid of a BF. Still, he's not exactly thrilled that Julie's been all-too-obviously jonesing for one of her humpy Twilight costars, who isn't exactly hiding his feelings for Julie, either.

Now, can we be honest here?

As perfecto as Ms. Babe-Sucker's tastes may be, it simply must be stated—plain and stud-simple—that I do think Julie's going gonzo for the hunkier dude. I can def see why she's considering dumping the full-time BF for a sweet little fling with the muscled costar in question. Who wouldn't?

Just wonder if it would last (so, too, no doubt, would certain Twilight powers that be).

I mean, Nikki Reed probably would have launched on this dude at the first table reading! Wonder if she did...

Oh, and I've had it with E!'s snitty, pearl-and-cardigan wearing lawyers. I'm Twittering the next set of clues. Follow my ass and make some guesses. Screw old-time snail blolumns.

It Ain't: Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser, Rachelle Lefevre

We clearly know who he is talking about. K to the S

Alexandre Desplat, not Carter Burwell, Set to Score New Moon

Carter Burwell, the talent behind the original soundtrack for Twilight, will not be composing the score for New Moon. Instead, Alexandre Desplat, who wrote the soundtrack for New Moon director Chris Weitz’s earlier film The Golden Compass, is most likely at the helm. This news comes from the website of Carter Burwell, stating

As I understand it, the director of New Moon, Chris Weitz, has hired Alexandre Desplat to composer the music for the film. Desplat composed the music for Weitz’ earlier film The Golden Compass. I don’t know if they’ll use any of my themes from Twilight, such as “Bella’s Lullaby”.

French NM Contest:Win a Trip to Italy Set

If you live in France, you have a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to the set of New Moon in Italy. What’s interesting about this for us folks outside of France is that the tentative dates listed for travel are May 26th–29th–more or less confirming at least part of the dates for the New Moon shoot in Italy.

Interestingly, the traveller will stay in the Hotel Baglioni in Florence, with promise of travel to wherever the shoot is taking place. Does this mean some scenes will be filmed in Florence? Or is the travel from Florence to Montepulciano–about an hour and a half drive away?

France is the first in the world to see New Moon–on November 18th, and now this! Jeez, Paris is sounding mighty find right about now… Click here for more info :)

Kel-Bear getting steamy with 90210 starlet

I was getting my daily dose of TMZ just a few minutes ago and I'm scrolling down the page & BOOM! I see Kel-Bear kissing Annalynne McCord from 90210. They previously said they were just friends but this clearly squashes all rumors. So sorry girls, guess he is off the market. But we can still look, he is too damn hot!! :)

New Moon Cast Attends 100 Monkeys Show in Vancouver

If you went to the 100 Monkeys show in Vancouver last night, you were in for a treat–nearly the entire New Moon cast was in attendance! They all showed up to support Jackson Rathbone’s band for the concert at Backstage Lounge on Granville Island.

The whole cast was a class act– I can’t even begin to tell you how nice the cast was. They asked for us to wait to take photos until mainly after the show because they didn’t want to take the spotlight from Jackson’s band, and they were incredibly kind, classy, and friendly. And they mostly hung out in the crowd all night, just enjoying the show like everyone else. Mindblowing! Kudos, Twilight cast. You really are a one-of-a-kind group. Thanks for putting up with us fans!

Rumors: Is Eclipse being filmed at the same time as New Moon?

Over at TwiCrackAddict one of her daily readers sent her some interesting news. Guys, it’s just speculation - so who knows? -

One of my best guy friends went out to LA to visit his mom over Easter and he ended up going to Easter dinner with someone who worked on Twilight and is currently working on New Moon. They talked briefly about it, saying that they would film in Italy at the end of May. My friend also said that the crewmember told him that they are currently shooting both the 2nd AND the 3rd. I asked my friend if he meant that they were filming Eclipse right after they finish New Moon, but he said that he was sure they are filming both. It kind of makes sense and it explains why Taylor Lautner was in the parking lot pictures on Lainey Gossip (Jacob shows up at Forks H.S. in Eclipse to confront Edward).

TwiCrack goes on to saw the following -

Lainey Gossip just reported that Rob, Kristen & Jacob were filming a wolf transformation scene yesterday while I was hanging out with my mother in law; that event doesn’t happen in New Moon, does it??

What do you guys think?

Thanks Twilight Times :)

Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie?

There hasn’t been official word yet on whether Breaking Dawn will be a movie. Though we’d undoubtedly all like to see it made, the Twilight Examiner takes a look at some of the difficulties that may arise in making it happen (warning: spoiilers ahead)–

We also know that Summit Entertainment has taken The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as an “optioned property,” which, basically, means that they have the choice whether to make the film or not - and they haven’t decided at this point. We also know that Robert Pattinson was quoted to say on the Red Carpet of the Oscar’s this March that Breaking Dawn would, indeed, be made as well (video below - saying “and Breaking Dawn’s gonna be done at some point as well, so yeah…”).

Rumor had it that the issue was with the character Renesmee and the impossibility of casting a baby with a full set of teeth who continues to grow at rapid and inexplicable speed, talks (when she actually speaks) like a mature adult of wisened years, and who can do spectacular things physically (such as, for instance, jump eight feet in the air to catch a snowflake).

Another possible issue? That the movie would be too long to properly capture the spirit of the book. Then there’s the whole issue of whether it would be R-rated (spoilers)–

“When she gives birth, Edward rips open Bella’s stomach with his teeth to get the baby out.

It’s a bloody and gruesome birth. And what does the little bugger do once she’s out? Sinks her half-vampire teeth into mom’s chest, that’s what. What follows is an equally bloody and gruesome transformation of our teenage heroine into a vampire. How any of the birth scene gets magically transformed into a PG-13 moment is anyone’s guess.”

As an odd addendum, Fox News is reporting that “Noot Seear has just signed a very appetizing deal to appear in the next three “Twilight” installments”. Huh? As far as I can recall, Heidi isn’t even in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!

Thanks NewMoonMovie for the info :)

Twilight Take Out Stills-Midnight Sun

Found these awesome stills of the Midnight Sun sequence that were cut from the Twilight DVD, CD 3 from Target :) This is where Edward visualizes killing Bella, letting his animalistic tendicies take over.

[Bella Swan walked into the flow of the heated air that blew toward me from the vent. Her scent hit me like wrecking ball, like a battering ram.
There was no image violent enough to encapsulate the force of what happened to me in that moment. In that instant, I was nothing close to the human I'd once been; no trace of the shreds of humanity I'd managed to cloak myself in remained.]

[The face of the monster in the mirror mocked me. Even as part of me shuddered away from the monster, another part was planning it. If I killed the girl first, I would have only fifteen or twenty seconds with her before the humans in the room would react. Maybe a little bit longer, if at first they did not realize what I was doing. She would not have time to scream or feel pain; I would not kill her cruelly. That much I could give this stranger with her horribly desirable blood.] Midnight Sun Chapter 1-Stephanie Meyer

Michael Sheen to Play Volturi Leader Aro

Actor Michael Sheen, who played high-profile roles in The Queen and Frost/Nixon, is set to take on the role of Aro in New Moon, with an estimated £5million payday. This according to the Daily Mail, which says–

Sheen, 40, who made his name with uncannily realistic portrayals of well-known figures in Oscar-winning films The Queen, Frost/Nixon and The Damned United, will get his biggest pay cheque yet, a reported £5million, to star in New Moon.

In New Moon, Sheen will play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi.

Director Chris Weitz confirmed Sheen’s casting to The Mail on Sunday and said he had ‘aggressively’ pursued the actor.

‘Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires,’ he said. ‘Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.’

Ironically, Michael Sheen previously played the werewolf leader Lucian in Underworld. I think this is great news, given his great work in Frost/Nixon recently! What do you guys think?
