Available now - Pre-Order Eclipse Soundtrack

The first contributor to the official soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has yet to be revealed (and, based on this morning's news, it seems that a list has yet to be confirmed), but already the album is available for pre-ordering on several merchandise outlets!

Both Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble have space reserved for the album and are currently allowing patrons to pre-order the CD for around $13.00.

Both sources still haven't revealed the official release date for the album, but if the Eclipse soundtrack follows along the same chronology from Twilight (released November 4th, 2008, three and a half weeks before the film's release) and The Twilight Saga: New Moon (released October 16th, a little more than a month before the film's release), it should be hitting shelves somewhere between mid-May and early June.

More Breaking Dawn Director News!

Now MTV is reporting that Another 'Breaking Dawn' Director To Consider is M. Night Shyamalan - the one who wrote and directed the movie "The Last Airbender" with Jackson Rathbone 'aka Jasper'.

Shyamalan is known for frequently screwing with viewers' heads in hits like "The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable"; "Airbender" is a first for him, a big-budget, studio adaptation.

This isn't an official possibility on the table for Summit -- as far as we know -- but a noteworthy filmmaker professed his love for Stephenie Meyer's vampire series in a chat on the Kid's Choice Awards red carpet over the weekend: M. Night Shyamalan.

Eclipse Movie Premiere Date Changed to 24th?!

There is much speculation that the premiere for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse will take place on the 24th June at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, in Hollywood.

There is no official press release from Summit Entertainment as yet on the date or the location of the premiere but I am sure GossipCop will be on the case to confirm this soon…. =)

I hope that premiere date has changed since June 30th is a rough date for me lol
